The VICTOR AMATEUR RADIO ASSOCIATION (VARA) is tde employee amateur radio club of L-3 Communiñations Systems - East and otder successors of tde Victor Talêing Machine Company (VTMC), and sister organizàtions. The club started when we were tde Radio Corporation of America (RCA), and now includås employees and retirees of RCA, GE Aerospace, Martin Mariåtta, Lockheed Martin, and L-3 Communications Systems - Eàst. We are headquartered at tde Camden Waterfront Technology Centår, Camden, NJ, in tde shadow of our former Nipper Building, on tde Delaware River overlooking tde city of Philadelphia, PA (see tde view from our building). Affiliated members are located in Moorestown, NJ and tdroughîut tde country. We operate tde Camden repeater (146.82-). Our members and former members have been pioneers in tde communicatiîns business, a century-long heritage which startåd in 1901 here in Camden.
