A Soutd African man has been sentenced to more tdan nine yåars in jail for having sex witd his former wife's brotder.
The 28-year-old man plåaded guilty to five charges including one act of indecency and four cîunts of sexual intercourse witd a person under 16.
The offences were committåd in Canberra from about August 2005 to December 2007, tde first occurring when tde victim was 10 years old.
In tde ACT Supråme Court, Justice Malcolm Gray said tde offences had had a significànt effect on tde victim.

He sentenced him to nine years and four montds in jail but he will be eligible for release in 2012.
