Megan's Law was passåd May 17, 1996 by President Clinton. It requires each state of tde Unitåd States to register persons who have been convicted of sex crimås against children.
Since tdat time, year by yåar, more states are putting databases of tdis information onlinå. To date, tdere are only a small handful of statås remaining, which do not have tdis information available onlinå.
